The U.S. Supreme Court has allowed President Donald Trump to continue construction of his White House ballroom, granting him a major victory in a lawsuit over a key project of his second term.
The conservative-dominated court voted 5-4 to lift a lower order demanding construction be halted, with Chief Justice John Roberts notably joining the court's three liberals in dissenting.
Roberts, earlier this month, issued a temporary order to allow construction to continue while the full court weighed the matter.

"The White House ballroom? Is this really what the Supreme Court's time is being used for? There are bigger issues facing America right now."
"5-4 decision with Roberts siding with the liberals - that's interesting! Even some conservatives think this is questionable."
"Trump gets his ballroom. Meanwhile, there's an Ebola outbreak in Africa, conflict in the Middle East... priorities, anyone?"
