North Benefiting from Tinubu's Reforms? Northern Groups at War!

Explosive disagreement as Northern Groups clash over President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's claim that Northern Nigeria is the "biggest beneficiary" of his economic reforms.


The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) and Middle Belt Forum (MBF) called the President's Statement "surreal and cynical," arguing that the North has become the "poverty capital of Nigeria."


But Northern Christians have taken a contrary position, insisting that Tinubu is doing better than former President Muhammadu Buhari—and that the North IS benefiting from current reforms.


The battle lines are drawn as the ADC also pushes back against Atiku Abubakar's proposal to restore fuel subsidies if elected in 2027.
