Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the vice-presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 elections, has arrived in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, for strategic engagements.

The visit comes hot on the heels of his meeting with the party's presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, at the Obedient Movement headquarters in Abuja.

Both leaders reportedly left the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the NDC in May, citing internal issues.

Kwankwaso's South-South tour signals a major push to consolidate support ahead of the 2027 polls, with the NDC positioning itself as a formidable force against the ruling APC.
