Nigeria's senior women's basketball team, D'Tigress, suffered a narrow 71-67 defeat to Hungary in their second game of this year's FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup, played on Saturday in Berlin, Germany.

The win marks Hungary's first women's World Cup victory in 28 years.

D'Tigress must now secure a major upset victory against France this Monday, September 7, to avoid an early disappointing exit from the tournament. The team had earlier lost to South Korea 99-81.

Can D'Tigress bounce back against France?

Are we expecting too much from our female teams?
