COVENANT DAY OF SETTLEMENT: REV. FR. MAGNUS EBERE DECLARES "FAILURE WILL NOT CLASH WITH YOUR DESTINY" AT POWER-PACKED ADORATION
Thousands gather for “Men of Honour” Fire Conference as Edeywork teaches on “Understanding the Power Behind Great Fatherhood”
ABOH MBAISE, NG – 9TH SEPTEMBER 2026 – The atmosphere was charged with faith, fire, and declarations on Wednesday as the Covenant Day of Settlement with Rev. Fr. Dr. Magnus Ebere, SDV drew a massive crowd for Adoration, prophetic prayers, and deliverance.
Preaching on the theme “YOU CAN NEVER GROW ABOVE THE LEVEL OF YOUR MIND”, Fr. Ebere told worshippers that financial breakthrough begins in the mind.
For financial breakthrough to be possible, you must develop the mindset that allows it to become a reality,” he declared.
The SDV priest led the congregation in many loud affirmations including:
“Failure will not clash with your destiny. Failure will never connect with your life. Say, I am successful. Say it again. Louder and louder!”
As hands were lifted and voices rose, he proclaimed: “With the power of this word coming your way right now, the light of God must take over everywhere in your life. Amen.”
“Today is a day of settlement,” Fr. Ebere announced, as he prayed for families, businesses, and destinies. The service also featured the global rosary, prophetic declarations with “instant solution,” prayers, and Thanksgiving.
He then shifted focus to fatherhood, unveiling the year’s flagship program: the Men of Honour International Fire Conference.
“If you have a father, you must have a feather. And if you have a feather, you must fly,” he said, charging both men and women to honor fatherhood.
“Whether you are a woman here, you have a father in your father’s house. And also, you have a father in your husband’s house. Your husband is your father.”
In his message titled “Understanding the Power Behind Great Fatherhood”, Fr. Ebere stressed that responsibility, not wealth or title, defines a great man.
“You may have money. You may have properties. But your family may be in shambles... If you are a great man and you are not responsible in taking care of your family, the property you have... useless and irresponsible children can finish that within a short while.”
“That’s why if you are a responsible father with children responsible, even if you don't have money now, you are a great man. You are a rich man,” he added.
Citing Psalm 112:2 — “His seed shall be mighty upon earth. The generation of the upright shall be blessed” — he warned that “an irresponsible father is a father that does only what pleases the children, even when the children are in error.”
Using biblical example, he pointed to Eli the Priest of Shiloh:
“Eli was a priest of the living God. But he was an irresponsible man... Highly irresponsible. Eli was a nonchalant father. Stupid and useless.”
He said Eli’s sons, Hophni and Phinehas, reflected their father’s failure: “For these two sons to be stupid... Which means they have a stupid father.”
“There is a time to laugh with your children. There is a time to frown your face before them,” Fr. Ebere taught. “You can only bend a fish when the fish is still fresh.”
The altar call ended with a powerful prayer for fathers and mothers: “I pray for every father here, every mother here... Even after your old age, your children will not be failure here. Your children will not fail you. Say, my children will not fail me.”
The program closed with shouts of “Power! Fire! I am here!” as congregants were urged to go home and declare: “I am the head.”
The Men of Honour International Fire Conference is expected to continue with more sessions on leadership, family, and destiny.
