The Yoruba Community, Owerri Zone, has paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ahiazu Mbaise LGA 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗸𝘄𝗲 and the Executive Chairman Ezinihitte LGA, Hon Chinedu Nwachukwu respectively in a demonstration of solidarity, unity and continued support for the 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 (𝗔𝗣𝗖).
The delegation, comprising leaders and representatives of the Yoruba Community across the Owerri Zone, reaffirmed their commitment to the APC and pledged to mobilize their members to vote for 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗯𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗜𝗺𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗹y𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗮, expressed appreciation to the Executive Chairmen and the leadership of Ahiazu/ Ezinihitte Mbaise for the warm reception accorded them as the group assured the Chairmen that the Yoruba Community remains committed to peaceful coexistence, grassroots political participation and the continued success of the APC.
In recognition of the cordial relationship between the Council leadership and the Yoruba Community, the delegation decorated the Executive Chairman, Hon. Larry Obinna Chikwe, while the Vice Chairman Chief Callistus Onuoha was also honoured through the representative of the leader of the Council.
Welcoming the delegation, Hon. Chief Amb. Larry Obinna Chikwe expressed delight over the visit and thanked the Yoruba Community for identifying with his administration and for their unwavering commitment to the APC.
The Chairman however, described Ahiazu Mbaise as a peaceful and accommodating LGA where every resident, irrespective of tribe or ethnic background, is an important stakeholder in the collective development of the area,
commended the Yoruba Community for their peaceful coexistence and contributions to the social and economic growth of the council.
Hon. Chikwe assured them that his administration would continue to maintain an open-door policy and provide an enabling environment for all residents and communities to thrive, appreciated their pledge of support and urged them to remain united and steadfast as they mobilize support for the APC and its candidates in the forthcoming elections.
The visit ended on a strong note of solidarity, with both the Yoruba community and the leadership of Ahiazu Mbaise reaffirming their commitment to unity, peaceful coexistence and collective progress.
On the other hand, the group visited the Executive Chairman Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA, Hon Chinedu Nwachukwu Ezinihitte at the council headquarters, Itu
In his address, the President General of Yoruba community represented by the General Secretary Comrade Alatare Sulyman Musa equally, expressed their gratitude to the Executive Chairman for giving them audience out of his busy schedule for the solidarity visit.
Comrd Sulyman also stressed the readiness of the Yoruba community Imo state to synergize and partner with the good people of the state in the 27 local government area and to strengthen them to ensure the land slide victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the polls of Bola for the 2027 general elections and other APC candidates .
He further, expressed their gratitude to the governor of imo state,. Senator Hope Uzodinma for his magnanimity and right-hand of fellowship given to them with out exhibiting tribal and ethnic dicotomy as may be witnessed in other states and prayed God Almighty to continue to bless the state governor and grant him his heart desire of senatorial ambition come 2027
In his contribution, Sir. C. C Ekpe on behalf of the council staff, thanked the Yoruba community imo state chapter for visiting Ezinihite Mbaise LGA assuring, them of the council' s support in all their activities.
Responding, the Executive Chairman Ezinihitte LGA, Hon Chinedu Nwachukwu appreciated the Yoruba Community for the courtesy visit and assured them that the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is sacrosanct as he prayed God to grant them journey mercies as they go back to their different destinations.
