​OSun State — President Bola Tinubu has officially congratulated Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party on his successful re-election as the Governor of Osun State. In a statement issued by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, the President described the electoral victory as a true reflection of the people's will.

​President Tinubu praised the courage and discipline of all contestants in the August 15, 2026, race, noting that their active participation has significantly deepened Nigeria's democratic culture. Looking toward the next four years, the President urged Governor Adeleke to prioritize the unity, stability, and socioeconomic growth of Osun State, inviting him to lead for all citizens regardless of their political affiliations during the election.
