President Tinubu Appoints Ebel Olumuyiwa Eniton as Head of Civil Service

​Abuja — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the appointment of Mr. Ebel Olumuyiwa Eniton as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, effective August 27, 2026. Mr. Eniton, who is currently the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Education, takes over from Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, who is proceeding on statutory retirement.

​With over seven years of experience as a Permanent Secretary across various ministries, including Police Affairs and Humanitarian Affairs, the President has tasked Mr. Eniton with consolidating ongoing reforms, fostering a merit-driven culture, and building a more professional, accountable civil service capable of delivering the administration’s "Renewed Hope" agenda.
