​Ahead of International Youth Day celebrations, the Imo State Police Command and the Ministry of Sports pulled out all the stops at the Dan Anyam Stadium for a high-energy novelty football match.

​But the day was about much more than just football. The State Police Commissioner, Mr. Garuba Bisu, delivered a stern and passionate charge to the youth, urging them to shun violence, political thuggery, drug abuse, gender-based violence, and cyber-misinformation. Echoing this sentiment, Sports Commissioner Comrade Obinna Onyeocha encouraged young people to channel their boundless energy into sports, talent development, and productive economic ventures for the good of the state.
