Orlu Council Boss Urges Students to Honor Family Sacrifices

​Orlu, Imo State — The Chairman of Orlu Local Government Area, Pastor Chris Mbarie, has called on Nigerian students to view education as a rare privilege rather than a right, urging them to remain stellar ambassadors of their families and communities.

​Pastor Mbarie offered the wise counsel when a delegation of indigenous students from the Enugu State University (ESU), known as the Amifeke Indigenes, paid him a courtesy visit at the council headquarters. Led by Mr. Raymond Dike, the group visited to express solidarity with the Chairman's exceptional leadership and human-centric development initiatives, while appealing for expanded scholarship provisions. Responding to the group, Pastor Mbarie reaffirmed his administration's dedication to investing heavily in human capital and youth empowerment to uplift society.
