Gov Uzodimma Pays Final Respects, Donates ₦50M and Vehicle to Parish at Prof. Oparra’s Thanksgiving Mass

​Imo State — Governor Hope Uzodimma has joined family, friends, and dignitaries at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Umuopara Nguru in Aboh Mbaise LGA Imo State, for the thanksgiving mass in honor of late Ezinne Christian Opara, matriarch of the Professor John Kennedy Opara family.

​Recalling how Professor Opara served as a steadfast pillar during his early days in government, Governor Uzodimma condoled with the bereaved family, emphasizing the irreplaceable void left by a mother regardless of age. To support the host parish, the Governor announced a ₦50 million financial donation toward the completion of the church hall project alongside a brand-new vehicle for the parish priest.
