Uzodimma Praises Imo Journalists, Pledges Firm Support for Ethical Reporting

Owerri, Imo State — Governor Hope Uzodimma has lauded journalists and media practitioners in Imo State for their unwavering commitment to professionalism, prompt reportage, and accurate information delivery.

The Governor made this commendation on Tuesday when he played host to a high-powered delegation comprising members of the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN) and the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Imo State Council, at the Government House in Owerri.

Addressing the media leaders and communication scholars, Governor Uzodimma urged them to continue projecting the state positively through responsible and objective journalism, emphasizing that the media plays a pivotal role in shaping public perception and driving societal development.

While expressing his appreciation for the courtesy visit, the Governor reaffirmed his administration's readiness to partner with and support initiatives that foster professional excellence, ethical standards, and effective communication across the state.
