'Integrity, Accountability, Transparency': Orlu Council Boss Defines Sustainable Leadership

Chairman of Orlu Local Government Area, Pastor Chris Mbakwe, has described sustainable leadership as one founded on integrity, accountability and transparency, insisting that only such values can guarantee lasting development.


Speaking while receiving members of the 6th Legislative House of Orlu LGA on a courtesy visit at the council headquarters, Mbakwe said he remains committed to serving the people diligently and working with individuals and groups willing to contribute to the progress of the local government.


The Chairman urged the former lawmakers to remain selfless in their dealings and continue supporting Governor Hope Uzodimma's administration, stressing that development requires collective effort rather than personal interests.


Leader of the delegation, Mr. Ernest Ibejiako, commended Mbarie for what he described as remarkable achievements in office, claiming the chairman has surpassed many of his predecessors. He appealed for continued inclusion of former legislators in the affairs of the council.


Another member of the delegation, Mr. Chimaraeze Añinihu, encouraged the Chairman not to be distracted, saying many residents see his administration as a source of renewed hope.
