Lagos, Nigeria — Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has lauded his Lagos State counterpart, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for his unwavering courage and steadfast leadership through turbulent times.

Governor Uzodimma made this remark on Wednesday as he joined other distinguished personalities, political leaders, and stakeholders for the official launch of ***Sanwo-Olu: Against All Odds – A Photo Story of Resilience in the Face of Adversity***.

The compelling publication documents Governor Sanwo-Olu’s administration through a visual lens, capturing some of the most defining and challenging moments of his first term and the early phase of his second term in office.

Describing the book as a powerful testament to public service, Governor Uzodimma noted that true leadership is a deliberate sacrifice made for the betterment of society. He observed that leadership is frequently tested by unprecedented crises that demand immense courage, resilience, and an unshakeable commitment to the public good.

Commending the Lagos State helmsman, Uzodimma praised Sanwo-Olu for standing tall, keeping his eyes fixed on governance, and continuously pushing forward the infrastructural and socio-economic development of Lagos State despite the hurdles encountered along the way.
