The Imo State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships with major investors as Governor Hope Uzodimma met with the leadership of the ANOH Gas Processing Company to discuss ways of accelerating economic growth in the state.
The meeting, held at the Government House in Owerri, also provided an opportunity for the company to formally introduce its new Managing Director, Mr. James McIndoe, who was accompanied by the General Manager, Operations, Engineer Amei Chinwube.
Governor Uzodimma assured the delegation that his administration would continue to create an enabling environment for businesses, stressing that partnerships with forward-looking companies remain central to his vision of industrialising Imo and creating sustainable prosperity.
He noted that the state's collaboration with ANOH Gas Processing Company goes beyond hosting a major energy project, describing it as a catalyst for investment, employment generation and economic transformation.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Ogwueke Nwachuku, said the Commissioner for Petroleum and Natural Gas Development, Mr. Meka Mbonu, also participated in the meeting.
The renewed partnership comes at a time when Imo is positioning itself as one of Nigeria's emerging energy investment destinations.
