Governor Hope Uzodimma has sworn in Chief Longers Anyanwu as Commissioner for Agriculture, succeeding Chief Cosmos Maduba.


Speaking shortly after taking the oath of office, the new commissioner pledged total loyalty to the administration's agricultural vision, promising to implement impactful programmes aimed at boosting food production and strengthening food security across the state.


With rising food prices affecting millions of Nigerians, many residents will be watching closely to see whether the new leadership can translate promises into practical results for farmers and consumers.
