Abia Govt Demands Answers Over Nursing Student’s Death in Imo

***

The Abia State Government is demanding updates on investigations into the death of Wendy, a nursing student in Imo State whose killing reportedly shocked students and residents.

Authorities are also calling for better hostel security and psychosocial support for traumatised students.

Early reports suggest the tragedy may involve obsession and rejection.

Meanwhile, Police say one suspect has been arrested over the death of a nursing student in Imo, while detectives continue investigations and search for others linked to the case.

The victim’s body was reportedly found in a private off-campus apartment.

Now many are asking:

Should schools be held partly responsible for student safety outside campus?

Painful question: Are schools doing enough to protect students living off-campus? 💔
